For more than 20 years, the Specialization Course in Plastics and Rubber Processing has offered a technological overview of the development of the plastics and rubber industry.
The modules offered, aim to deepen knowledge and develop technical skills related to the processing of plastics and rubbers. With a pedagogical structure that promotes specific training for each module, the course dynamically builds the qualification required of a professional for safe and effective performance in the sector.
In this program, polymers are discussed on topics such as obtaining, ownership, composition, molding and product development, among others. Each training module deals with specific knowledge about plastics and rubbers; extrusion, injection, blowing, thermoforming and rotational moldings; dies and molds; process simulation, product development; packaging and environmental management, for example.
In its entirety, the Specialization in Plastics and Rubber Processing is a latosensu postgraduate course recognized by MEC and with authorization granted by process Number 23079-030936 / 1999-14.

Obs. 1: In compliance with the UFRJ and CGU regulations, the COPPETEC Foundation is currently responsible for all financial transactions related to this course program. In principle, a service provision relationship is created between the student (or company) and the COPPETEC Foundation, where the Institute de Macromoléculas is the executor. Considering Specialization, a contract describes and establishes which modules will be taken and the form of payment. In the case of a company, the beneficiaries must be discriminated against. After signing the contract, bank slips will be issued by the COPPETEC Foundation, which can be paid in banks or ATMs of the accredited network.
